Position Summary
Technology Partnership Group (TechPG) is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role serves as a critical liaison between clients, project managers, and software developers to ensure successful software implementation projects.
The ideal candidate possesses strong business analysis expertise, exceptional communication skills, and experience supporting government agencies or financial management system implementations. This individual will lead requirements gathering efforts, facilitate stakeholder engagement, document business and functional requirements, support solution design, implement system configurations, and conduct system testing of new program functionality and product updates for established clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements sessions, stakeholder meetings, solution design sessions, software demonstrations, and discovery meetings.
- Analyze, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
- Perform or assist with solution configuration and implementation activities.
- Ensure implemented solutions meet quality and compliance standards.
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Document and track defects, enhancements, and resolution activities.
- Produce high-quality project documentation.
- Deliver client training.
- Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies as required.
- Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business users, technical teams, and project leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of confirmable Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise software implementations.
- Strong knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience creating business process flows, functional specifications, and testing documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and productivity tools.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analyst, or equivalent BA certification.
- Experience implementing government systems for state, local, or public sector agencies.
- Experience with financial management, accounting, loan management, grant management, bond management, or related financial systems.
- Knowledge of government finance, compliance, budgeting, or program administration processes.
- Experience working with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software implementations.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and presentations.

Work Environment
- Fully remote collaborative team environment focused on innovation, client success, and professional growth.
- Occasional travel to client locations is required for approximately one week at a time, several times per year.
