Employee Benefits with TechPG

Medical/Dental/Vision/Prescription Insurance:  Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the company health insurance program. TechPG will pay 80 percent of the employee’s cost and 40 percent for additional family members. Medical coverage is provided by Aetna HealthFund, which is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO). Dental coverage is provided by Aetna Dental, which encourages preventive services by offering these services without a deductible. Vision coverage is provided by Vision One, which offers affordable, high-quality eye care to support visual wellness. Prescription coverage is also provided by Aetna with varying benefits for formulary and generic drugs. Health insurance coverage begins on the first day of the month following the employee’s 60-day probationary period.

Flexible Spending Accounts: TechPG offers a Medical Reimbursement Spending Account (MRSA) and a Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA). MRSAs are used to pay for almost any legitimate medical expense not covered by a group plan (either medical, dental or vision). DCSAs are used to pay for costs of dependent care that enable an employee to work. This care may be for a child under the age of 13, a spouse, or other adult dependent who is incapable of self care. For either flexible spending account, the employee contributes a predetermined amount through regular pre-tax salary deductions. The employee is reimbursed for all expenses up to the amount deposited, up to a maximum amount. If the employee elects the HDHP medical plan, he or she is eligible for a limited flex plan (as required by law) to help meet vision and dental expenses.

Retirement: Through our PEO, TechPG offers a 401(k) program to employees with no waiting period for enrollment for new hires. Under the program, the company matches one dollar for every two contributed by the employee, up to 10 percent of the employee’s base salary. The company matching amount is vested after three years of employment.

Life Insurance: At no cost, full-time employees are provided with $55,000 of group term life insurance, effective on the first day of the month following the employee’s 60-day probationary period. Additional coverage is available for the employee, spouse or child at additional cost to the employee.

Disability Insurance: Disability insurance offers income replacement for short or long periods of time to support an employee who is unable to work due to injury or illness. Full-time employees are eligible to apply for long-term disability coverage paid for by the company. Short-term disability coverage is offered as an elective benefit.

Vacation: Full-time employees receive 10 business days of paid vacation per calendar year. Five additional business days are awarded following each five-year employment anniversary. Unused vacation days roll over from year to year. New employees receive a pro-rated number of vacation days depending on date of hire during the calendar year.

Sick Leave: Full-time employees receive 10 days of paid sick leave per calendar year. Sick leave also carries over from year to year. New employees receive a pro-rated number of sick days depending on date of hire during the calendar year.

Holidays: All employees receive pay for eight major "fixed" holidays and two "floating" holidays per year. Floating holidays do not roll over from year to year.

Travel/Relocation Reimbursement: TechPG will reimburse an employee for actual costs and incidental expenses incurred when performing company-related travel. If mutually agreed upon, the company will pay a reasonable amount to relocate an employee to a long-term job site.

Parking Reimbursement: TechPG will pay reasonable parking expenses for an employee at a designated parking area.

Forum Credit Union Membership: TechPG employees are eligible for membership at Forum Credit Union. Forum offers checking accounts, savings accounts, investments, loans and credit cards.
